Come and join us in the pottery to try your hand at making your very own stoneware mug.
It’s on Saturday 25th April from 10 am - 12.30 pm in the studio in Culross, Fife.
The class will be taught by professional Ceramist Jo Walker -she will lead you through selecting the shape of the mug, decorating the surface, trying out handle options, and putting it all together.
You will make your mug in the workshop on the day and choose your glaze combination to be applied later. The mug will be fired and glazed for you, then you can return to collect your finished mug and take it home, or choose to pay a small fee to cover postage if you don’t live locally.
The skills taught in this class are the basics of handbuilding with slabs of clay - it’s a great introduction to pottery, or a fun way to spend a morning if you’ve worked with clay before.
