6-Week Pottery Course (Wednesdays 6.30 - 8.30 pm from 19th August 2026)

£170.00
sold out

This course comprises 6 x 2-hour sessions on Wednesday evenings from 6.30 pm - 8.30 pm, 19th August - 23rd September at the pottery studio in the historic village of Culross, Fife. Across the six weeks, you will be able to work with stoneware clay, slips, and glazes to create several pieces to take home with you.

It doesn’t matter whether you’ve never worked with clay before or you have some experience - this course is taught at all levels, and you can use whichever techniques you want to learn or use: throwing, hand-building, or both.

This class is taught by Jo Walker, a professional ceramist. Jo is a select member of the Craft Potters Association, as well as a selected exhibitor at Ceramic Art London, and she has years of experience in her own practice as well as teaching, advising, and supporting you through the pieces you want to make.

Final work to take home is charged at a small fee (£4 per kg) and is calculated by the weight of the work you have made in the block.

Many of our pupils sign up for block after block. Should you wish to continue after this block, the class will be given first refusal to re-book before the spaces become available online.
